Clay sleep Mask and Scrunchie Set in Pure Mulberry Silk
Warm sandy clay, from coconut husks
Tracked delivery, shipped within 1 to 2 days. Returns within 14 days.
Our botanical sleep set includes a 100% mulberry silk eye mask and a matching silk scrunchie, hand-dyed in Bali using the same plant-based pigments as our silk pillowcases. Each piece is colored with natural dyes such as mango leaves, mahogany leaves, coconut husks, ketapang leaves, sappan wood, or indigofera tinctoria offering rich, earthy tones without synthetic chemicals.
The silk eye mask gently shields the delicate eye area from light while helping prevent friction and moisture loss, promoting a deeper, more restorative night’s sleep. The matching silk scrunchie is designed to protect your hair, reduce breakage, and maintain natural shine thanks to silk’s smooth, non-pulling texture.
Soft, breathable, and naturally hypoallergenic, this duo elevates your nightly routine into a calming clean beauty ritual blending comfort, botanical color, and pure mulberry silk. Perfect as a thoughtful gift or as a luxurious treat for yourself.
Each set comes with a delicate cotton voile and silk pouch, for safe keeping and travel.

Natural dyeing is a living process — just like plants and our skin, colors may evolve over time. To ensure the longevity of your piece, special care is essential:
- Use a neutral pH detergent (such as eco breseh detergent soap nut in Bali). Avoid any products with whitening agents, as they can bleach natural dyes.
- For hand washing, a short soak in soapy water with neutral pH detergent is ideal. Avoid prolonged soaking and, most importantly, do not rub the fabric.
- Wash your garment separately or with similar colors to prevent it from being affected by synthetic dyes from other clothing.
- You can also machine wash on a delicate cold cycle (silk/wool setting) using an ecological, neutral pH detergent.
- It’s best to dry your garment in the shade, but occasional gentle tumble drying for silk is acceptable.
- In case of grease stains, apply a small amount of talcum powder and leave it on overnight or for a day. Gently remove the powder and repeat if necessary.
- Natural dyes are sensitive to acidic substances. Avoid contact with lemon, vinegar, alcohol, deodorants, and perfumes. If it’s too harsh for your skin, it will be too harsh for your silk.
FAQ
Mulberry silk is a smooth, breathable natural fiber that glides gently against the skin and hair. Unlike many synthetic fabrics, it does not create friction, which helps reduce hair breakage and skin creasing during sleep.
Silk is also naturally thermoregulating, helping maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the night.
In our pieces, the silk is dyed using plant-based pigments rather than synthetic dyes, allowing colour to emerge from natural sources such as leaves, bark and roots using 0 chemicals.
Because both silk and plant dyes are delicate, gentle care is recommended.
Hand wash or machine wash on delicate cycle in cool water with a mild, natural detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
Do not wring the fabric, instead gently press out excess water and let it air dry away from direct sunlight.
Over time, plant-based colours may evolve slightly. This is part of the beauty of natural dyeing.
Natural dyeing uses pigments extracted from plants such as leaves, bark, roots and wood to color textiles.
Unlike synthetic dyes derived from petrochemicals, plant dyes come from renewable botanical sources and are applied using traditional dyeing techniques.
Because the color comes from living materials, each piece carries subtle variations and depth that cannot be replicated by industrial dyeing.
