Old Rose Scrunchie in Pure Mulberry Silk

Our silk scrunchies are crafted from 100% mulberry silk and naturally hand-dyed in Bali using the same botanical blends as our silk pillowcases. Each shade is created from plants such as mango leaves, mahogany leaves, coconut husks, ketapang leaves, sappan wood, and indigofera tinctoria offering rich, earthy pigments without synthetic dyes.

Gentle on hair and kind to the planet, these silk scrunchies help prevent breakage, reduce friction, and maintain natural moisture. Their smooth, non-pulling texture makes them ideal for all hair types, from fine and delicate to thick and curly.

Soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic, they’re designed to protect your hair day and night while adding a touch of natural beauty inspired by botanical color. Perfect on their own or paired with the matching silk pillowcase for a complete clean beauty ritual.

Comes with a petite cotton-voile pouch perfectly sized to hold your scrunchie.

• Chemically untreated Mulberry silk, hand dyed exclusively with sustainable plant-based pigments
• Pesticide-free and biodegradable
• Small-batch production, ethically crafted in Bali in partnership with local farmers and artisans
• Free from synthetic dyes, fixatives, or chemicals
• Slow-crafted, with intention in every weave

• Fabric: 100% mulberry silk, fine, resistant, smooth and naturally lustrous.
• Color & Dye: all our shades are achieved through 100% natural and artisanal plant-dyeing in Bali. Each piece carries subtle variations, a sign of its handcrafted soul.

Natural dyeing is a living process — just like plants and our skin, colors may evolve over time. To ensure the longevity of your piece, special care is essential:

• Use a neutral pH detergent (such as eco breseh detergent soap nut in Bali). Avoid any products with whitening agents, as they can bleach natural dyes.
• For hand washing, a short soak in soapy water with neutral pH detergent is ideal. Avoid prolonged soaking and, most importantly, do not rub the fabric.
• Wash your garment separately or with similar colors to prevent it from being affected by synthetic dyes from other clothing.
• You can also machine wash on a delicate cold cycle (silk/wool setting) using an ecological, neutral pH detergent.
• It’s best to dry your garment in the shade, but occasional gentle tumble drying for silk is acceptable.
• In case of grease stains, apply a small amount of talcum powder and leave it on overnight or for a day. Gently remove the powder and repeat if necessary.
• Natural dyes are sensitive to acidic substances. Avoid contact with lemon, vinegar, alcohol, deodorants, and perfumes. If it’s too harsh for your skin, it will be too harsh for your silk.
